4th UK Swallowing Research Group Conference Thursday 16 & Friday 17 February 2012, London
We are pleased to announce the 4th meeting of the UK Swallowing Research Group to be held on 16th and 17th February 2012 at the Institute of Child Health, London.
Major themes for the February 2012 conference will include:
- Neuroplasticity
- Oesophageal motility
- Ethical and legal aspects in dysphagia and tube feeding
- Therapeutic outcome measurements and research methodologies (parallel session workshops)
- Pharmacotherapeutic approach for dysphagia and clinical practice for rehabilitation

- Dysphagia in dementia
- Dysphagia in nursing homes
Plus free papers and poster sessions.
This conference will be of interest to all health care professionals with an interest in swallowing and feeding management and will cover topics from a wide range of disciplines, with state of the art seminars delivered by leaders in the field of dysphagia. This year we are combining adult and paediatric considerations within each themed session.
